Joseph The Ruler -The Provider 

 יוֹסֵף הַשַּׁלִּיט הַמַּשְׁבִּיר

Beraishit 42.6-בראשית

6.’ And Joseph he was The Ruler over the land, he was The Provider to all the people of the land- וְיוֹסֵף הוּא הַשַּׁלִּיט עַל הָאָרֶץ הוּא הַמַּשְׁבִּיר לְכָל עַם הָאָרֶץ (1979=26=8); And Joseph's brothers arrived, and they bowed down to him- וַיָּבֹאוּ אֲחֵי יוֹסֵף וַיִּשְׁתַּחֲווּ לוֹ (972=18), their faces to the earth- אַפַּיִם אָרְצָה (987+2 words=26=8 counting final Mem as 600).

The verse can also be divided so:

·         And Joseph he was The Ruler over the land, he was The Provider -וְיוֹסֵף הוּא הַשַּׁלִּיט עַל הָאָרֶץ הוּא הַמַּשְׁבִּיר (1493=17=8 or 3023=8 counting final Zadik and Peh as 900 and 800);

·         For all the people of the land- לְכָל עַם הָאָרֶץ (486=18);

·         And Joseph's brothers arrived- וַיָּבֹאוּ אֲחֵי יוֹסֵף(920 +3 words=14=8counting final Zadik and Mem as 900 and 600);

·         And they bowed down to him their faces to the earth- וַיִּשְׁתַּחֲווּ לוֹ אַפַּיִם אָרְצָה (1759+4 words=1763=17=8 counting final Mem as 600).

Rashi clarifies here that they prostrated themselves on their faces and extending the arms and legs (Megilla 22.b; Shavuot 16.b).

The joint gematria of the words:

·         Joseph-                            יוֹסֵף =156

·         The Ruler-                      הַשַּׁלִּיט =354

·         The Provider-                הַמַּשְׁבִּיר =557

The gematria of the word “ruler”- שַּׁלִּיטis 349+1 word=350=8.
