Beraishit 22.7- בראשית

"I am Isaac the Lamb"
There is much discussion amongst the Sages as to whether Isaac knew whether he was to be sacrificed by his father Abraham or not . The following  verse gives us a clue that he did know and agreed wholeheartedly to give up his life for the sake of sanctifying the Name of Hashem

7.’ And Isaac spoke to Abraham his father, and said, 'My father', And he said, 'Here I am, my son.' And he said, 'Here is the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for the Burnt-Offering?

The verse can be divided so:
·         And Isaac spoke to Abraham his father, and said, 'My father'- וַיֹּאמֶר יִצְחָק אֶל אַבְרָהָם אָבִיו וַיֹּאמֶר אָבִי (1593=18 counting final Mem as 600);
·         And he said, 'Here I am, my son.' And he said, 'Here is the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for the Burnt-Offering? וַיֹּאמֶר הִנֵּה הָאֵשׁ וְהָעֵצִים וְאַיֵּה הַשֶּׂה לְעֹלָה  (1871 =18).
Surprisingly Rashi is silent to this verse.

The gematria of the word “lamb”- שֶּׂה is 305=8.

The gematria of the word “lamb for the Burnt Offering”- שֶּׂה לְעֹלָה is 440=8 or + 2 words=10=1.

Is Isaac asking a question here as traditionally thought or is he saying “Here is the fire and the wood and I am the lamb for the burnt-Offering”?

The gematria of the words “and where is the lamb for the Burnt-Offering”-וְאַיֵּה הַשֶּׂה לְעֹלָה is 467=17=8.

The gematria of the word “where is”- אַיֵּה is 16+1 word=17=8.

The word “and where is”- וְאַיֵּה are the initials of the words “I am Isaac the Lamb”-ו-אני יצחק השה:
·                  And-                                וְ   = 6
·                  I am-                        אַ    ני  =61
·                  Isaac-                   יֵּ    צְחָק  =208
·                  The Lamb-           ה    שֶּׂה  =310

I am Isaac the Lamb

ואני יצחק השה

585=18

Thus this verse should be understood:

“Here is the fire and the wood and I am Isaac the Lamb”!

הִנֵּה הָאֵשׁ וְהָעֵצִים ואני יצחק השה

1172+6 words=17=8

In the light of the above we can now  conclude that Isaac knew that he was to be the sacrifice and agreed to it, so that Abraham his father would ultimately inherit the Land of Israel and succeed in his mission of Tikkun Olam as Mashiach at the End of Days.
